The milestone of BMD Jain School's Annual Sports Day was the Pearl Jubilee Celebration. This 30th Sports Day was celebrated with much fervour on 8th Nov 2025 at the SDAT Stadium, Vellore. The Chief Guest Thiru A. Myilvaganan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Vellore District. Our President Sri. V. Dilip Kumar Jain, Secretary Sri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain, Trustee Sri N. Sripal Kumar Jain and Sri. S. Naveen Kumar Jain presided over the function. They also felicitated the gathering.
Invoking the God Almighty through the Navkar Mantra and Thamizh Thaai Vazhthu started the celebration. The honourable dignitaries hoisting the three flags namely National Tri Colour, School Flag and The Olympic Flag.
The March Parade, the pride of the school, was then performed by the 4 Houses with our school marching band calling the beats. The March band was followed by the Head Boy, Head Girl, Scouts and Guides, JRC and the 4 Vibrant houses. Our Principal Mrs.M.Malathi welcomed the gathering and Our Vice Principal Mrs.D.Sumathi gave a detailed introduction of the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest Thiru.A.Myilvaganan I.P.S., addressed everyone through his motivational speech. He encouraged all to get involved in all sports activities and to lead a healthy life, Stressing on the importance of sports and games. He also gifted helmets, sponsored by our Management, to teachers driving two wheelers – highlighting the importance of safe driving. He declared the Sports Meet Open after the liberation of doves.
The Annual Sports Report was read by Mr. A Swarn Lourdu Raj, P.E.T. teacher. Simultaneously, the Champions Gallery showcased all National and Zonal level student athletes and sportsmen in both indoor and outdoor games, marking their grand entry.
The drills commenced with an enlightening Welcome Dance followed by 'Pearl Drill by KG kids. The colourful Aquarium drill by I to III students, Frame Drill by IV & V students and Zumba Drill VI to IX Girls were among the unique drills which exhibited synchronization of body movements and properties. Yoga, Archery, Silambam, Karate and Pyramid were other activities performed majestically by our students under the guidance of In-charge staffs. We proudly witnessed our Wushu warriors come together with great precision, unity in motion showcasing the thrilling display of the Chinese martial art. At the close of all the drills, the performers of all the drills and activities came together to highlight our school’s Grand Finale for this Pearl Jubilee Year. Parents and Alumni events as well as students’ 200 mts and 4x100mts Relay were also conducted.
Certificates and Medals were awarded to all the winners. Prizes were also awarded to teaching and non-teaching staffs for the staff events. Udavum ullangal Ayya Sri Chandrasekar extended his wishes also to all the teachers and students for their hard work. vote of Thanks was delivered by the V.P.Mam, Ms.P.K.Usha after which the Sports Day Meet was declared close. The Rolling Shield for the Academic Year 2025-2026 Sports day was awarded to the Emerald House.
