Literary club organized a seminar for the students of class IX on 15.7.26. The Resource person DR.S. Hilda Princi Annie M.A, M.Phil, NET, Ph.D. (Assistant professor of English), Auxilium College, delivered a talk on the topic "Developing Emotional Intelligence in students". Our Secretary Sir Sri.K. Rajesh Kumar Jain Sir presided over the programme.
The Programme commenced with prayer song & lighting of the lamp. Vice Principal Ms. P.K. Usha welcomed the gathering. The introduction of the Resource Person was given by Subject Head of English Ms.Preetha Pillai. Our Secretary Sir honoured the Resource Person with shawl and momento. Dr.Hilda Princi Annie conducted an interactive session with the students on How to have self-control, how to manage one's emotions, how to have self awareness. She conveyed that "Gratitude and respect" are also parts of Emotional Intelligence. She also said about the Five Pillars of EI (self-awareness, self-regulation, self-control, self-motivation, self-empathy), Managing Digital distractions.
The programme ended with Vote of Thanks proposed by the Student President of Literary Club.
