"Say no to plastic bags today for a cleaner and greener tomorrow"
?International Plastic Bag Free Day was observed in our school on 3rd July 2026 with great enthusiasm, to create awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and the importance of protecting the environment.
? Principal, Ms. J. Kavitha and vice principal Ms. D. Sumathi who motivated the students not to use plastic bags and encouraged everyone to follow the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
?As part of the celebration, a Paper Bag Making Activity was conducted for class VI students. The students enthusiastically created attractive and reusable paper bags using eco-friendly materials, showcasing their creativity and commitment to environmental conservation.
?The programme inspired students to replace single-use plastic bags with paper and cloth bags and to contribute towards a cleaner, greener and plastic-free future.
