? International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 20th June 2026 with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event aimed to create awareness about the importance of Yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and emotional balance.
?The programme began with prayer followed by Tamizh Thai Vaazhthu. ?The Principal delivered the Welcome Speech. Secretary Sri K. Rajesh Kumar Jain and Academic Advisor felicitated the gathering and emphasized the significance of yoga in leading a healthy & disciplined life.
? Yoga Master Mr. Sathiyamoorthy gave a valuable speech about the importance of doing yoga daily. He began with warm up exercises and prepared students for various asanas. Yoga postures such as Tadasana, Padmasana and stretching exercises were performed by our X & XII students with great interest.
? It encouraged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for a healthier and holistic lifestyle.
? The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks delivered by the Subject Head of English.
