A cycling Awareness Event for world peace was organized by BMD Jain school today 13th April 2026 at 8.30 a.m. The event was held near the Gandhi statue, a prominent land mark at vellore fort. The main objective of the event was to spread awareness about world peace and stop war through non – violence. Felicitations were given by Vanigasangam Thailaivar Gnanavel, Our president Sri. V. Dilip Kumar Jain and Secretary Sri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain. Our Academic Advisor, Principal and Vice principals, A.O Sir and all teaching and non – teaching staffs were also present at the Vellore fort. Speeches in English were given by Janavi (Class XI) and in Tamil by Urshitha (Class IX) on world peace.
Four times Guinness Record Holder in Free hand cycling, Master R. Ashwini Kumar of VII - B came forward to promote world peace. He gave a tireless free hand cycling performance, riding around the Gandhi Statue 20 times. The young champ was cheered by our IX and XI students who had gathered to witness this show. Ashwini kumar’s silent message of Peace, unity, brotherhood and Non – violence was a motivation for all the youngsters and elders.
Our Management arranged for refreshments for all after we returned to the school premises.
