"Harvest Happiness, Prosperity and Peace, cherish Nature's bounty with gratitude."
Pongal, the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu is celebrated all over the state with gratitude and warmth. On 13.01.2026, our school was transformed to represent the traditional Pongal festival. The day was started religiously with Navkar Mantra followed by Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Worshipping of the cow was observed as well as the observance of the holy Pongal puja.
Our Principal then welcomed the gathering and our Secretary Sri K. Rajesh Kumar Jain extended his warm Pongal wishes. Our President Sri V. Dilip Kumar Jain also joined in the festival celebrations. Our talented Silambam students gave a mesmerising performance on the martial art form. Students came up with various traditional musical art forms of Tamil Nadu like drums and dance. A boy performed the traditional "stilt walking" and stunned our school students.
Finally, 'Uri Adithal' game was conducted for the 11th and 12th students to break the pot blindfolded. Prizes were awarded to both students and teachers who won in the Uri Adithal sport. Sweet Pongal dish was distributed to all. Pongal wishes were extended by A.A. Mam and also Ms. Nasreen Irfan, Subject Head of History & Civics. Our High School V.P. Mam delivered the Vote of Thanks.
