11th International yoga day was celebrated in our school on 21st June to instill the importance of physical fitness and mental alertness among students. The day started with prayer song and lighting the lamp then Principal and Academic Advisor delivered the speech. The session began with gentle warm up exercises to prepare the body for more intense asanas. Students performed various yoga like Tadasans, Padmasana etc .
The importance of breathing techniques like Pranayama was emphasized.
The event was a resounding success, fostering a sense of well- being and promoting yoga as a valuable practice for a healthy life style and finally Vice-principal delivered a vote of thanks.
